Vikas gupta
vikas gupta is an Indian orthopedic, hand & upper extremity surgeon based in Delhi. He is recognized for pioneering several advanced surgical techniques in India, including the use of locking plates for fracture fixation and various firsts in wrist and thumb surgeries.

Career
vikas gupta is noted as the first surgeon in India to use locking plates for fracture fixation. He was also the first to perform arthroscopic wrist surgeries, wrist replacement, and osteointegrated thumb prosthesis in the country. He has contributed extensively to the advancement of hand and upper extremity surgery in India.
He also serves as the secretary and honorary treasurer for the Indian Society for Surgery of Hand.
