Pradeep Dubey is an Indian electrical engineer and government service professional based in Padrauna Kushinagar, Uttar Pradesh. Pradeep Dubey has made significant contributions to the electrical infrastructure of major religious events such as Kumbh Mela 2019 and Mahakumbh 2025, gaining recognition for his work which was even shared by NASA astronaut Don Pettit.

Early Life

Pradeep Dubey was born on 12 June in Padrauna Kushinagar, Uttar Pradesh, India. He completed his primary schooling at a village Montessori school.

Education

Pradeep Dubey pursued higher secondary education from DAV Narang Inter College Ghughli Mahrajganj, Uttar Pradesh. He further completed a Diploma in Electrical Engineering from Maharana Pratap Polytechnic, Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh.

Career

Pradeep Dubey began his professional journey with a job as an Assistant Loco Pilot in Indian Railways. He later joined the Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited as a Junior Engineer and was promoted to Assistant Engineer. He played a key role in the electrical arrangements during the Kumbh Mela 2019 and Mahakumbh 2025 held in Prayagraj. His work on the electrical infrastructure was notable enough to be captured and shared by NASA astronaut Don Pettit.

Pradeep Dubey is recognized for his highly commendable contribution to the electrical infrastructure of the Kumbh Mela 2019 and Mahakumbh 2025. The lighting and electrical arrangements he worked on during Mahakumbh 2025 were visible from space and shared by NASA astronaut Don Pettit.
