Kempurajan Krishnan
Kempurajan Krishnan is an Indian businessman, civic leader, and social activist based in Bangalore, Karnataka. He is widely recognized for his contributions to Dalit empowerment, civic governance, and humanitarian service. Krishnan has led various initiatives aimed at promoting social justice, particularly for marginalized communities, and has received multiple national and international honors for his work.
Early life and education
Krishnan was born in Bangalore, Karnataka, India. He completed his early education at Balayesu Vidyalaya and earned his undergraduate degree from V.V. Puram College of Science, affiliated with Vokkaliga Sangha. He later obtained an E MBA In Strategic Management From Mother Theresa University and Pathway Graduate From BYU Brigham Young University USA.
In 2021–2022, he completed the Civic Leadership Incubator Program (B.CLIP), an initiative by the Bangalore Political Action Committee (B.PAC), supported by the Takshashila Institution.
Career
Civic and political leadership
With over 26 years of experience in civic engagement and public service, Krishnan has emerged as a key figure in urban governance and social activism. He is the Founder and Chairman of the Dalit Fighters Forum, a nationwide organization committed to advocating for Dalit rights and social inclusion.
Krishnan has contested elections in Karnataka for both the State Legislative Assembly and the Parliament of India. As a B.PAC civic leader, he has contributed to public policy reform, civic awareness campaigns, and participatory governance models across Bangalore.
Professional experience
In addition to his activism, Krishnan has over 15 years of professional experience in the information technology sector. He has also worked as a soft skills trainer and is a well-regarded motivational speaker and educationist.
