Jitendra Kumar Kumawat was born on 10 July 1998 in Pachar Dantaramgh, located in the Sikar district of Rajasthan, India. He spent his early years in Sikar, where he completed his schooling and developed an interest in national service and international affairs.

Career
Jitendra Kumar Kumawat began his professional journey in 2020 as an officer in the Indian Army, marking the start of his service career. His experience in the defense sector provided him with leadership and discipline that later contributed to his diplomatic career.
In September 2022, he joined the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), Government of India, where he worked until April 2024. During this tenure, he contributed to various administrative and international coordination assignments.
In May 2024, he was appointed as an Indian Foreign Service (IFS) Officer and assumed the post of Counsellor at the Embassy of India in Berlin, Germany. In this capacity, he supports diplomatic engagements, oversees cooperation initiatives, and represents India in bilateral forums and strategic dialogues with Germany.
