Early Life
Dr. Iqbal Maqbool Ahmed Syed was born in India as the eldest of four siblings. His father was a medical officer and his mother a homemaker, shaping his values of empathy, service, and discipline. He excelled academically in his early schooling, known for curiosity and determination. Alongside academics, he developed a passion for cricket and became a school and district-level player, earning recognition as a skilled all-rounder. His leadership qualities emerged early when he was elected Sports Secretary in college.

His experience abroad strengthened his understanding of modern pharmacy practice and hospital management.
After returning to India, he established himself as a hospital and community pharmacist in Nanded. He began offering free patient counselling, drug interaction guidance, chronic disease management support, and substance-abuse awareness sessions. Over time, he became a trusted healthcare professional with more than 500 patients visiting daily for free advice. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he organized a volunteer medical team delivering medicines and home care to infected patients without charging any fee.
He actively participates in weekly outreach programs, slum-awareness drives, rural healthcare missions, and public seminars through the medical service society. His work promotes preventive healthcare, hygiene education, and medication safety.
