INDRANIL MUKHERJEE was born on 04 July 1979 in Bankura, West Bengal. He developed an early interest in engineering and teaching, which later shaped his career in technical education and skill development.

Career
INDRANIL MUKHERJEE began his career as a government instructor in the year 2009 under the Directorate of Industrial Training, Technical Education, Training and Skill Development Department, Government of West Bengal. He is presently posted as an instructor at Government ITI Durgapur, West Bengal.
With more than 17 years of service in technical education, he has trained over 300 trainees who are now employed in leading automobile companies and public sector undertakings across India. His teaching philosophy emphasizes continuous learning, adoption of new-age technologies, and industry-ready skill development aligned with the Skill India mission.

Contributions to Skill Development
INDRANIL MUKHERJEE has contributed to curriculum development as a member of syllabus committees for CTS trades including Mechanic Diesel and Mechanic Two and Three Wheeler, as well as CITS syllabus preparation. He has also developed online educational content to support continuous and flexible learning for trainees.
