History

Dhamma Mangalam was founded in 2009 by Deepak R. Anbhore with the objective of spreading meditation as a practical tool for managing stress and unhappiness. Under his leadership, the organization has conducted meditation retreats and community programs across Maharashtra, reaching individuals from diverse social and professional backgrounds.

Founder Background

Deepak R. Anbhore was born on 14 October 1979 in India. He completed his graduation from Milind College of Arts, Aurangabad. After his formal education, he developed a strong interest in meditation and mindfulness practices.

To deepen his understanding, he traveled to Na Uyana Aranya in Sri Lanka, where he studied meditation and mindfulness. He later stayed at Pa Auk Forest Monasteries in Myanmar to learn Buddhism and advanced meditation techniques. After completing this training, he returned to India and initiated meditation activities that eventually led to the formation of Dhamma Mangalam.

Activities

The organization conducts structured meditation retreats and programs aimed at reducing stress, calming the mind, and improving emotional balance. These activities are designed to help individuals develop mindfulness and inner stability as a foundation for personal and social well-being.

Meditation Retreats

Dhamma Mangalam has conducted more than fifty meditation retreats since its establishment. These retreats focus on mindfulness practice, mental clarity, and emotional discipline, and are open to participants from various walks of life.
