Chocolates Foundation
Chocolates Foundation is an Indian non-profit organization dedicated to forest conservation, wildlife protection, and environmental charity. The foundation was established in 2022 by Sridhar V.S. in loving memory of Chocolate, a pet pug who passed away after battling cancer. What began as a personal tribute has grown into a conservation-driven organization working to protect animals, forests, and ecosystems.
History and Inspiration
Chocolates Foundation was founded following the loss of Chocolate, a beloved companion of the founder. The experience of loss highlighted the fragility of life and inspired the transformation of personal grief into a broader mission for environmental and wildlife protection. The foundation stands as a living tribute, channeling compassion into long-term conservation efforts.
Mission
The mission of Chocolates Foundation is to protect forests, conserve wildlife, mitigate human–animal conflict, support conservation research, and empower communities, while honoring the memory of Chocolate through meaningful action.
