Ataur Rahman was born on 31 October 1986 in the village of Baghmari, Kuthori, under Kuthori post office and Jakhalabandha police station, in the Duar Bagori mouza of Nagaon district, Assam, India.
Education
He completed his schooling and higher education in Assam and Karnataka. He studied at Hojai College and later pursued a Master of Business Administration degree from M. S. Ramaiah Institute of Management Studies, Bangalore.

Ataur Rahman is engaged in business and entrepreneurial activities. He serves as director at M/s A B Stone Crusher and M/s A B Paver Industry, and is in charge of operations at M/s A B Industry. He has also been involved in the tyre business as the former owner of Rahman Tyres.
