Akshat Tyagi is an Indian entrepreneur, environmental technologist, and sustainability professional based in India. He is the Founding Director of Sustainable Biosolutions Private Limited, an Indian wastewater and sewage treatment company known for developing advanced packaged sewage treatment plants and decentralized wastewater recycling solutions. He is widely associated with the conceptualization and development of the SUSBIO ECOTREAT technology platform.

Under his leadership, the company introduced the SUSBIO ECOTREAT platform, a prefabricated and modular sewage treatment solution designed for residential townships, apartments, hotels, commercial buildings, and institutional projects. The system integrates biological treatment processes such as MBBR and SBR to deliver high treatment efficiency with reduced operational costs and space requirements.

As Founding Director, his responsibilities include strategic planning and business development, product innovation and technology development, project execution and technical validation, client consultation and solution design, regulatory compliance, and sustainability alignment. He actively promotes onsite wastewater reuse for applications such as toilet flushing, landscaping, gardening, and non-potable industrial use.
