Habib MD Martuja Ahmed Mazarbhuiya

Habib MD Martuja Ahmed Mazarbhuiya (born 1 December 1996) is an Indian public service professional, education entrepreneur, and social development leader from Assam. He currently serves as a Chief Minister Fellow under the Government of Assam and is widely known as the Founder and Director of Buraq Academy, Chairman of Barak Valley Nursing Institute, and Director of Buraq Education Research and Development Foundation.

He is recognized for his contributions to education access, skill development, entrepreneurship promotion, and youth empowerment in the Barak Valley and southern Assam region.

Early Life and Background

Habib MD Martuja Ahmed Mazarbhuiya was born on 1 December 1996 in Silchar, Assam. He completed his early schooling in Assam, where he actively participated in academics and sports activities, including district-level Kabaddi championships.

From an early age, he displayed strong interest in education, leadership, and community development, which later shaped his career in public service and educational entrepreneurship.

Habib possesses multidisciplinary academic qualifications across engineering, management, and entrepreneurship:

Professional Career

Chief Minister Fellow (Government of Assam)

In December 2024, Habib was selected as a Chief Minister Fellow and posted at the District Industries and Commerce Centre (DICC), Silchar.

The fellowship is part of the Chief Minister’s Atmanirbhar Assam Abhiyan (CMAAA), a flagship initiative of the Government of Assam aimed at:
