Tushar Agrawal (born 13 February 1980) is an Indian entrepreneur and industrialist based in Uttarakhand, India. He is the Founder and Principal Chief Executive Officer of Maa Sheetla Group, a diversified conglomerate with businesses in steel, ethanol, and liquor manufacturing. At the age of 21, he established the steel brand Mittal TMT 500 and later expanded into one of the largest ethanol plants in Uttarakhand and North India. Under his leadership, Maa Sheetla Udyog Pvt. Ltd. has introduced liquor brands such as Naughty Boys, Attraction, and Jack & Jill. The group today records a turnover of nearly USD 12 billion.

Early Life

Tushar Agrawal was born on 13 February 1980 in Haldwani, Uttarakhand, India. He developed an early interest in business and entrepreneurship, influenced by his surroundings in the industrial regions of Uttarakhand. His family belongs to the Sadasukh Pariwar of Haryana, and his forefathers migrated from Haryana to Uttarakhand. He was born to Yashoda Nandan Agrawal and Rama Agrawal.

Career

Agrawal began his entrepreneurial career at the age of 21, setting up a steel plant under the brand Mittal TMT 500. In 2003, he founded Maa Sheetla Group, headquartered in Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh, which later diversified into multiple sectors.

He co-founded Maa Sheetla Udyog Pvt. Ltd. in 2003, where he continues to serve as Co-Chief Executive Officer. In addition, he took up leadership positions in BTC Industries Ltd., serving as Executive Director and CEO from 2004 to 2025.

Under his leadership, the group expanded into ethanol production, establishing one of the largest ethanol plants in North India, and diversified into liquor manufacturing, producing brands such as Naughty Boys, Attraction, and Jack & Jill.

Today, Maa Sheetla Group has grown into a diversified industrial enterprise with a turnover of USD 12 billion, spanning steel, ethanol, and liquor sectors.
