Kalaiarasan Loganathan was born on 14 December 1996 in Vellakovil, Tamil Nadu. He grew up in a middle-class family where his father, Loganathan Palaniappan, was involved in buying and selling second-hand cars and worked as a driver, while his mother, Sagunthala Natarajan, was a homemaker. His upbringing in a modest environment instilled values of hard work, perseverance, and financial responsibility.
Education
Kalai completed his schooling at Punitha Amala Annai School in his hometown. He pursued higher education in Coimbatore, earning a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science Engineering from Hindusthan College of Engineering and Technology.
Career
After graduation, Kalai faced challenges securing a job in the IT sector and was burdened with an education loan. He worked as a video editor in the television media industry before securing a position as an Airport Representative at Velana International Airport in the Maldives in 2020. This role provided him with valuable exposure to the global tourism and hospitality industry.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Kalai identified a business opportunity by arranging quarantine transit packages for travelers in the Maldives. This initiative led to the founding of TheTourist360, a travel company specializing in curated international tourism experiences. The company expanded its services to multiple international and domestic destinations and now operates with a professional team serving travelers across India.
