Jekib Ahmed
Jekib Ahmed is an Indian human rights and sustainability consultant, music composer, and sound engineer based in Noida, Uttar Pradesh. He is the Director and Co-founder of Paradigm Shift, a consulting firm specializing in social dialogue and ethical supply chains. With more than 19 years of experience, Ahmed has worked across India, South Asia, and the Middle East on labour rights, sustainability, and supply chain management. In addition, he is also active in the Assamese film industry as a music director, composer, arranger, and songwriter.
Early Life
Jekib Ahmed was born on 6 July 1982 in Tezpur, Assam, India. He completed his schooling at Don Bosco High School and Guru Nanak Model School in Tezpur. His early interest in social issues and creative arts later shaped both his professional and musical pursuits.

Career
Ahmed began his professional journey in the development sector with PRADAN (2006–2008), where he worked on livelihood and watershed management projects in tribal communities. He later served in several roles, including:
- Association for Stimulating Know-How (ASK) – Manager (Responsible Business), handling social compliance and evaluations.
- PVH Corp. – Compliance Officer (2012–2013), overseeing social audits and ethical supply chains.
- Mitrata Inclusive Financial Services – Vice President, Internal Audit & Compliance (2013–2017).
In 2017, he co-founded Paradigm Shift Global, a research and consulting firm engaged in labour rights, social dialogue, conflict resolution, and sustainability strategies.
Since 2017, Ahmed has also been associated with the Tchibo WE Program as a country facilitator, working to improve factory-level working conditions in India through interventions on child labour, modern slavery, health and safety, discrimination, and living wages.
His industry exposure spans garments, electronics, sports goods, carpets, printing, glass, leather, traditional crafts, jewellery, and agriculture sectors.
