Dr. Tofiq Bohra
Dr. Tofiq Bohra (born 18 August 1988) is an Indian Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon based in Mumbai. A pioneer in TMJ Arthroscopy and craniofacial surgery, he is recognized for performing complex procedures including minimally invasive TMJ surgeries, cleft and craniofacial reconstructions, orthognathic jaw surgeries, and total joint replacements.
Early Life & Education
Dr. Tofiq Bohra was born on 18 August 1988 in Mumbai, India. He pursued his education as follows:
- Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) – MGV Dental College, Nashik (2006–2010)
- MDS – Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery – M.A. Rangoonwala Dental College, Pune (2012–2015)
- Cleft & Craniofacial Surgery – CCI Zurich & BSES MG Hospital, Mumbai (2016–2018)
- TMJ Mini Residency – University of Maryland, USA (2021–2022)
- MBA – Health Care & Hospital Management – D.Y. Patil University, Pune (2023–2025)

Dr. Bohra has been practicing for over a decade, with expertise in:

Dr. Bohra is among the first few surgeons in India to use a 1.9mm arthroscope for minimally invasive TMJ surgeries.
