Dr. Neeraj Dhamija (born 26 January 1982 in Delhi, India) is a leading Indian gastrointestinal, laparoscopic, and robotic surgeon. He serves as Senior Consultant at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi, and is Director of the Gastro Surgery & Stone Centre, Janakpuri, the Minimal Invasive Surgical Training Foundation, and SafeMeditrip LLP.

With extensive training in advanced gastrointestinal surgery, liver transplantation, and robotic surgery, Dr. Dhamija has built a reputation for his expertise in complex procedures, including pancreatic, bariatric, and robotic gastrointestinal surgeries.

Early Life and Education

Neeraj Dhamija was born in Delhi to Dr. Satish Kumar Dhamija and Mrs. Usha Dhamija. He completed his schooling at NC Jindal Public School, Punjabi Bagh. Inspired by his family’s values and medical background, he pursued medicine at Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University Medical College, Pune.

He earned his MBBS in 2000 and completed his DNB in Surgery at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in 2006. He further specialized with a Fellowship in Gastrointestinal Surgery & Liver Transplantation (2009) at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital and later trained in Robotic Surgery at IRCAD, Strasbourg, France, in 2014.
