Abhijeet Palshikar

Dr. Abhijeet Palshikar is a senior interventional cardiologist based in Pune, India. He is known for his extensive experience in complex coronary interventions including CHIP angioplasty, CTO procedures, bifurcation angioplasty, rotablation, intravascular lithotripsy, peripheral angioplasty and structural heart disease management. With more than 14000 diagnostic and over 7000 interventional procedures performed, he is recognized as a national and international faculty in cardiology. His clinical approach combines advanced cardiac technologies with a strong interest in academics and teaching.

Early Life and Education

Dr. Abhijeet Palshikar was born on 15 November 1974. He completed his M.B.B.S and M.D. (Medicine) from Government Medical College, Aurangabad from 1991 to 2002. He later pursued Dr.N.B.(Cardiology) at the National Board of Examinations, Mumbai between 2002 and 2005. He completed his Fellowship in Interventional Cardiology at Pederzoli Hospital, Pisteria Del Garda, Italy between 2005 and 2006.
