Early Life and Education
Nitin Dhaboo completed his Bachelor of Commerce degree in 2002 from S.I.E.S College of Commerce. He later earned a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration through distance learning in 2010 from Welingkar Institute of Management.
Career
Nitin Dhaboo began his professional career in media sales and business development in 2004. Over the years, he has held multiple leadership roles with responsibility for regional revenue growth, team management, and sales strategy execution.
From July 2004 to December 2006, he worked as Assistant Manager – Space Marketing at The Indian Express Newspapers (Mumbai) Ltd., where he was responsible for revenue generation for property supplements and achieved consistent sales targets.
Between December 2006 and November 2007, he served as Manager – Media Solutions at Optimal Media Solutions Ltd. (Times Group), handling revenue for real estate and education categories and providing integrated media solutions.
From November 2007 to November 2009, he worked with Infomedia 18 Ltd. as Sales Head (West), managing revenue responsibility for the western region and executing brand development initiatives.
He later joined Digital Radio (Mumbai) Broadcasting Ltd. (Red FM) from November 2009 to July 2010 as Sales Head (West), focusing on business development strategies and revenue expansion.
From July 2010 to August 2022, Nitin Dhaboo was associated with Zee Media Corporation Limited as Regional Head – Gujarat and Maharashtra. During this period, he was involved in implementing business strategies, leading sales teams, and maximizing business opportunities.
Between August 2022 and October 2023, he served as Zonal Head – Maharashtra and South at Jaipur Media and Broadcasting Pvt. Ltd., where he conceptualized and implemented sales strategies with a focus on revenue optimization.
From October 2023 to January 2024, he worked as Regional Head – Gujarat and Maharashtra at News Nation Network Pvt. Ltd., overseeing revenue operations across the two regions.
In August 2024, Nitin Dhaboo rejoined Zee Media Corporation Limited. He currently serves as Regional Head for Zee 24 Taas, the Marathi news channel, overseeing regional sales operations and business development initiatives.
