Nivedita Yuvraj Yedure

Nivedita Yuvraj Yedure (born 30 July 1991) is an Indian social worker, NGO leader, and entrepreneur from Kolhapur, Maharashtra. She is widely recognized for her tireless efforts in women empowerment, healthcare, rural development, and social welfare initiatives across the state. She serves as the President of Local Self-Government Welfare Organization, Chief Officer of Maha NGO Development Association, Head of Social Responsibility Fund, and Chairman of Maha Mahila Bachat Gat Nidhi Limited. She is also the Director of RY Consumer Products Private Limited, which promotes food products made by women’s self-help groups (SHGs).

Early Life and Education

Nivedita Yedure was born in Manjari, Chikodi, Belgaum district, and later moved to Kolhapur. She completed her **MBA from Cyber College**. After marrying entrepreneur and social worker **Yuvraj Yedure**, she gradually became active in social life and community initiatives.

Women Empowerment

Mrs. Yedure has dedicated much of her career to the empowerment of women through Self-Help Groups (SHGs) and skill development initiatives. She has supported training programs in:

Papad making
Paper bag making
Candle making
Beauty parlour training

These efforts have provided many women with self-employment opportunities and financial independence.

NGO Development and Leadership

She plays a key role in strengthening NGOs and welfare associations in Maharashtra through the Maha NGO Development Association. As the Head of Social Responsibility Fund, she helps NGOs prepare legal documents, secure CSR funds, and build organizational capacity.

Health and Hygiene Initiatives

Launched a Public Awareness campaign under the Sex Education Act (2012) to educate adolescent girls about health and hygiene.
Initiated the Yashwahi sanitary napkin production project to provide affordable menstrual hygiene products.
Organized blood donation awareness campaigns among women.
Conducts regular health check-up camps for domestic helpers and rural women.
Undertakes visits to primary health centers in rural areas to assess and improve facilities.

Entrepreneurial Role

As the Director of RY Consumer Products Pvt. Ltd., she works extensively in marketing food products prepared by SHGs and women entrepreneurs, supporting their economic independence.

Recognition

In 2019, Nivedita Yedure received the District Youth Social Organization Award from the Ministry of Youth Welfare, Nehru Yuva Kendra, Government of India for her outstanding contribution to social service.
