Dr. Alphonse T. Nabam, also known as A. T. Nabam, is an Indian government officer and blogger from Arunachal Pradesh. He serves as a Senior Fodder Development Officer in the Department of Animal Husbandry, Veterinary & Dairy Development, Government of Arunachal Pradesh. He is recognized as the first gazetted officer from Leporiang Circle and the first Scheduled Tribe (ST) officer in his cadre.

Early Life

Alphonse T. Nabam was born on 20 April 1971 in Village Sango, Leporiang Circle, Sagalee Sub-Division, District Papum Pare, Arunachal Pradesh. He completed his primary education at Government Primary School, Leporiang and later studied at Sacred Heart High School, Shillong, where he passed SSC in 1989. He attended Government Higher Secondary School, Doimukh in 1991 for his science studies.

Career

Nabam began his career in 2001 when he joined the Government of Arunachal Pradesh as Fodder Development Officer. He later advanced to Senior Fodder Development Officer in the Department of Animal Husbandry, Veterinary & Dairy Development. His work includes fodder cultivation, livestock management, and support for dairy development. Over two decades of service, he has contributed to projects across multiple districts, focusing on rural development and veterinary infrastructure.
