Dr Vipin Vengayil
Dr. Vipin Vengayil is an Indian consultant physician based in Kanhangad, Kerala. He is known for his expertise in General Medicine, Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, and Critical Care. Early Life
Dr. Vipin Vengayil was born on 17 October 1987 in Kanhangad, Kerala, India. He belongs to a Malayali family and was raised in Kasargod District.
Education
Dr. Vipin Vengayil completed his MBBS from ACME Pariyaram, Kannur, Kerala between 2007 and 2014. During his undergraduate studies, he participated in the Dr. TKC Memorial Gold Medal Quiz Programme and reached the final rounds.
He pursued DNB General Medicine at Smt. Mahavir Super Speciality Hospital, Surat, Gujarat from 2017 to 2020. During his postgraduate training, he participated in local and state-level medical conferences through paper presentations and secured the Second Prize in the API Gujarat Quiz Programme (2018).
Career
Following completion of his MBBS, Dr. Vipin Vengayil worked as a Casualty Medical Officer in various hospitals across northern Kerala between December 2014 and February 2016. During this period, he gained extensive experience in emergency medicine, trauma care, patient stabilization, airway management, wound care, and medical triage.
After completing his DNB in General Medicine, he served as an ICU Registrar at United Green Hospital, Adajan, Gujarat from August 2020 to March 2021. His responsibilities included management of critically ill ICU patients, ventilator management, invasive emergency procedures, intensive monitoring, and multidisciplinary critical care planning.
Since 2020, Dr. Vipin Vengayil has been practicing as a Consultant Physician.
From January 2021 to May 2026, he served as Consultant Physician at several reputed hospitals, including:

- Prasanthi Super Speciality Hospital, Manjeri, Kerala
