Air Vice Marshal Rajesh Bhandari VSM (Veteran) was born on 26 July 1967 in Chamba.

Education

He holds a Bachelor of Science degree, an MBA, an M Phil in Public Administration, and a PhD in Supply Chain Management.

Career

Rajesh Bhandari retired as a Senior Air Force Officer. He currently serves as the Director and CEO of the General Bipin Rawat Foundation. Besides his military and administrative roles, he is involved in producing, directing, and acting in regional Uttarakhandi movies.

Achievements

He has received multiple honors including the Commendation by AOC-in-C, Chief of Air Staff, the prestigious Vishisht Seva Medal awarded by the Hon’ble President of India Mrs Draupadi Murmu Ji, the Jan Bhushan Award from his native block consisting of 46 villages, and the Uttarakhand Ratan Son of Soil Award.
