Career
KS BHATIA began his entrepreneurial journey with the launch of Pumpkart.com in 2015, aiming to organize and modernize the water pump industry.
He founded Pumpkart in 2014, which later gained strong momentum in 2015.
The startup gained international recognition when Sundar Pichai highlighted Pumpkart during the Digital India event in Silicon Valley in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and global technology leaders.
In 2018, KS BHATIA became the first Indian startup founder to represent India at the United Nations.
In 2020, Pumpkart received funding support of approximately $2 million under the Samruddhi Scheme by the Government of Karnataka, enabling expansion through a network of around 150 retail outlets.
Continuing his focus on innovation, KS BHATIA launched Dooritt.com, an AI-powered proptech platform, along with his son Aagman Bhatia.
