Ambika Lal Azad is a retired government employee and social worker based in Uttarkashi, Uttarakhand. He is known for his dedicated service in government departments and his continuous involvement in social activities.

Early Life

Ambika Lal Azad was born on 2 February 1965 in the village of Dang, Patti-Bhandarsyun, in Uttarkashi district of Uttarakhand. He was born into a simple farming family and spent his early years helping his parents with household and agricultural work. During his childhood, he developed a strong sense of social responsibility after witnessing social injustice and exploitation in society.

Education

Ambika Lal Azad completed his graduation while balancing his studies with family responsibilities.

Career

Ambika Lal Azad began his career in 1983 as a temporary employee at the District Court. Later, in 1995, he joined the Uttar Pradesh Public Works Department (PWD). During his service, he carried out his responsibilities with dedication and commitment.

His work was recognized by the Chief Engineer of the Public Works Department in Allahabad and later in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, where he received appreciation certificates and awards for his service. After completing many years of government service, he retired on 28 February 2025.

Social Service

Along with his government duties, Ambika Lal Azad actively participated in various social organizations from time to time. After retirement, he dedicated his time fully to social service and community welfare activities.

He is currently serving as the State President of BAMCEF (Backward and Minority Communities Employees Federation) in Uttarakhand, where he continues to work for social awareness and community development.

Personal Life

Ambika Lal Azad lives a simple life and remains actively engaged in social causes. He plans to devote his remaining life to the service of society.
