Monu Chauhan was born on 20 February 1987 in Delhi, India.

He completed his schooling from a Government School in Delhi and graduated from PGDAV College (Evening), Delhi University. During his academic tenure, he served as President of his college (2007–08), reflecting early leadership qualities.

He later completed his PGDM from IMS College, Ghaziabad.
