Sony Malhotra
Sony Malhotra (born 14/11/1992) is an Indian education professional, academic coordinator, and social welfare advocate for tribal communities. He is known for contributions to school administration, academic planning, examination management, and integration of technology in education and social-impact initiatives.
He has been associated with Digital India Corporation under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India, and has served in leadership roles within educational institutions in Arunachal Pradesh.
Early Life and Education
Sony Malhotra was born in Ziro, Arunachal Pradesh, India. He completed his schooling at Government Higher Secondary School, Itanagar.
He earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Bangalore University, Karnataka, followed by a Master of Commerce from NERIM under Gauhati University, Assam. He also completed specialization in Portfolio Management and Applied Finance.
His academic background laid the foundation for his work in education administration, academic coordination, and content development.
Professional Career
Sony Malhotra has worked extensively in the education sector with focus on academic monitoring, school administration, and examination coordination.
He worked as AMPC at Digital India Corporation (MeitY), Government of India, contributing to technology-driven public service initiatives. He has also served as Assistant Director at Donyi Polo Vidya Bhawan, an IPSC member institution established in 1981.
He is recognized as the first Principal of The Pi Academy, Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh.
