KS Bhatia – A serial entrepreneur from Chandigarh, known for disrupting the pump industry with Pumpkart and now transforming the real estate sector through Dooritt and OORA.AI . He first came into the national spotlight when Google CEO Sundar Pichai mentioned his journey at India’s inaugural Digital India Summit in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He also holds the distinction of being India’s first startup founder and Punjab’s first entrepreneur to represent the country at the United Nations.

KS BHATIA was born in Amritsar, Punjab. He demonstrated academic excellence at an early age and secured top rank in the NTSE Examination during his school years.
He is from Chandigarh and has been associated with the city as part of his entrepreneurial journey.

Career
KS BHATIA began his entrepreneurial journey with the launch of Pumpkart.com in 2015, aiming to organize and modernize the water pump industry.
He founded Pumpkart in 2014, which later gained strong momentum in 2015.
KS Bhatia is a serial entrepreneur from Chandigarh and the founder of Pumpkart. In 2015, Pumpkart gained international recognition when Sundar Pichai, CEO of Google, mentioned the startup’s success story in Silicon Valley during the first Digital India Initiative event held in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and several global technology leaders.
In 2018, KS Bhatia became the first startup founder to represent India at the United Nations.
In 2020, Pumpkart received a $2 million grant from the Government of Karnataka under the Samruddhi Scheme, enabling the company to expand and open around 150 retail stores across the state.
Continuing his focus on innovation, KS BHATIA launched Dooritt.com, an AI-powered proptech platform, along with his son Aagman Bhatia.
Dooritt was launched in 2025 and is positioned as the world’s first platform designed to deliver virtual property experiences directly at the customer’s doorstep, transforming how real estate is explored and purchased.
The platform provides virtual property experiences at customers' doorsteps and is expanding into industrial and institutional applications, bringing immersive virtual experiences to a wider audience.
