Early Life
Akhil Raj was born in 1987 in Patna, Bihar, India, into a middle-class family. His father served in the government sector, while his mother is a homemaker. He is the youngest of four brothers and completed his early education in Patna.
Education
Akhil Raj completed Honours in Functional English in 2006. During his studies, he received practical training at Patna Doordarshan, where he gained exposure to broadcasting, media communication, and public presentation.
In 2011, he earned a Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) with specializations in Marketing and Finance from a business school in Delhi NCR. As part of the programme, he completed industrial training in Working Capital Management at Aditya Birla Hindalco, gaining practical experience in financial management and corporate operations.
He has also completed professional assessment certifications in Facility Management Services, Business Intelligence, Financial Advisory and Portfolio Management, Account Management and Client Services, and Communication Studies, further strengthening his expertise in business management, corporate leadership, and facility management.
Career
Akhil Raj began his professional career in the product and service industries, gaining experience in operations, finance, marketing, legal compliance, workforce management, communication, negotiation, psychology, client relationship management, and organizational development.
Drawing on his multidisciplinary experience, he co-founded Meilleur Services, a company specializing in integrated facility management and workforce solutions. Under his leadership, the company expanded its operations across multiple sectors, providing services to multinational corporations, public sector enterprises, and projects associated with the Government of India.
Through Meilleur Services, he has contributed to creating employment opportunities for more than 10,000 individuals while promoting labour law compliance, employee welfare, workplace safety, social security, and skill development.
In addition to Meilleur Services, Akhil Raj serves as the Independent Director of Xeroman India and Director of Orgasoft Global Pvt. Ltd., where he contributes to business strategy, corporate governance, organizational development, innovation, and operational excellence.
He has also established the brands CleanGun and Dr. Shield as part of his entrepreneurial initiatives.
Nishpaksh Swabhiyan Foundation
In 2019, Akhil Raj founded Nishpaksh Swabhiyan Foundation, a non-profit organization established with the support of Meilleur Services as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives.
The foundation operates on the principle of "No Discrimination" and focuses on skill development, equal opportunity, constitutional awareness, environmental conservation, animal welfare, education, social responsibility, and community development.
Its long-term objective is to promote responsible citizenship, empower individuals through education and skill development, and encourage balanced and sustainable social progress.
