Jalaluddin, popularly known by his nickname Vicky Khan, is a travel and tourism entrepreneur headquartered in the Andaman & Nicobar Islands. Since 2007 he has developed and operated tours, travel agency services and inbound tourism products through Diganta Travels Pvt Ltd and the DTPL Group, with a focus on experiential island tourism, custom packages and air-sea logistics for visitors to the Andamans.

Early Life and Education

Jalaluddin was born on 2 May 1981 in West Bengal, India. He attended Samsi College, where he studied for a Bachelor of Arts (BA). His early exposure to travel and coastal communities influenced his later decision to build a tourism business in the Andaman Islands.

Career

Jalaluddin launched his travel career in 2007 and progressively expanded operations into full-service tour management and travel agency activities. He is the founder and driving force behind:

  • Diganta Travels Pvt Ltd. — inbound tour operator and travel services company.
  • DTPL Group — group of travel & allied-services enterprises focused on Andaman tourism.

His core services include customised island tour packages, hotel and transport coordination, excursion planning (snorkeling, sightseeing, boat tours), visa/permit assistance where applicable, and air ticketing support for domestic and regional travellers.

Business Base

Primary business operations and offices are located in the Andaman & Nicobar Islands, where Diganta Travels runs seasonal and year-round tour programs catering to both leisure and institutional clients.

Personal Life

Jalaluddin married Rajena Khatun in 2012. The couple have two children, Jara and Jiya. Outside work he enjoys business activities, singing, fishing and motorcycle rides. He practices the Muslim faith.
