Maloth Thirupathi Nayak is an Indian journalist and media entrepreneur from Telangana. He currently serves as the Bureau Chief of 6TV, President of the Telangana Tribal Working Journalist Association (TTWJA), and a National Council Member of the Indian Journalist Union (IJU). With over two decades of experience, he is widely recognized for promoting community-based journalism and amplifying tribal voices in mainstream media.

Early Life

Maloth Thirupathi Nayak was born on 22 August 1987 in Vattimalla, Rajanna Sircilla district, Telangana, to Pantulu Nayak and Kantha. He grew up in Kammaripeta Tanda, a small, forest-surrounded village known for its economic challenges. His upbringing in this environment inspired his lifelong dedication to social representation, rural development, and journalism that empowers marginalized communities.

Career

Maloth Thirupathi Nayak began his journalism career in 2003, starting with leading Telugu news organizations such as Eenadu, RK News, and CVR News. He is currently the Bureau Chief of 6TV, where he covers political, social, and community issues with a focus on tribal representation and social justice. His professional ethos emphasizes accuracy, integrity, and the inclusion of underrepresented voices in mainstream narratives.

Entrepreneurial Ventures

In addition to his journalism work, Maloth Thirupathi Nayak has made significant contributions as a media entrepreneur:

  • Founder of 3TV Banjaraa, the first cable television channel dedicated to the Banjara community.
