Shammas Abdul Latheef was born in Vatakara, Kerala to Abdul Latheef and Zakkeena. He grew up in a large family of seven children, where values of resilience, hard work, and determination were instilled. His passion for sports and fitness developed early in life, shaping his career path as both a physiotherapist and athlete.

Shammas began his professional career as a physiotherapist, supporting recovery and performance for athletes and fitness enthusiasts.
In 2017, he founded Hamstring Fitness Centre, which became a hub for community fitness and strength training. Expanding his vision, he launched S7 Fitness Centre in 2025, bringing advanced training facilities and modern fitness solutions to Vadakara.
