Shri Techi Sonu is an Indian para athlete, coach, sports administrator, and social worker from Arunachal Pradesh. He has represented the state and the country in para sports at state, national, and international levels and is known for his contribution to the promotion and development of para sports and Divyangjan empowerment.

Early Life

Shri Techi Sonu was born on 1 May 1998 in Arunachal Pradesh, India. He is the son of Shri Techi Tam and Smt. Techi Roi. He belongs to the Scheduled Tribe community and follows Christianity. He currently resides in Leporiang I, Sagalee, Papum Pare district, Arunachal Pradesh.

Education

He completed his graduation from Government College, Doimukh, Papum Pare district, Arunachal Pradesh.

Sports Career

Shri Techi Sonu has actively participated in para athletics, powerlifting, and bodybuilding competitions. Through consistent performances, he has earned medals at state, national, and international platforms, bringing recognition to Arunachal Pradesh.
