Ram Narayan Bharti was born on 7 June 1972 in Gangia, Jahangiatola, Khagaria, Bihar, India. He was inspired by the struggles of local communities and the lack of access to healthcare. He completed his MBBS degree from Shri Krishna Medical College, Muzaffarpur, under Bihar University. He pursued a postgraduate degree in Medical Sciences (MS General Surgery) from Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University, Kanpur.
