Dr. Abhishek Mathur is an Indian scientist specializing in biotechnology, bio-agriculture, and industrial microbiology. With more than two decades of experience, he is known for his contributions to sustainable agriculture, microbial science, and the development of high-impact biological formulations.
Early Life and Education
Dr. Abhishek Mathur was born on 02 August 1981 in India. He completed his Master of Science in Applied Biochemistry, followed by a Doctor of Philosophy in Biochemistry with specialization in Microbiology.
His doctoral research was conducted at the ICMR–National Institute of Malaria Research and registered with Jiwaji University, Gwalior. His academic work focused on applied microbiology, biochemical systems, and their agricultural and environmental applications.
Professional Career
Dr. Mathur has built a multidisciplinary career spanning agricultural biotechnology, industrial fermentation, pharmaceuticals, and microbial product development. His work integrates fundamental research with scalable commercial applications.
He currently serves as General Manager – R&D and Techno-Commercials at Omni Agrochemicals Private Limited, part of the Omni Group. In this role, he leads research strategy, biological product development, regulatory alignment, and techno-commercial integration.
