‘’’SN Pandey’’’ was born on 20 February 1985 in ‘’’Mongar village, Latehar district, Jharkhand’’’, into a humble middle-class family. His father was a teacher, which greatly influenced Pandey’s outlook toward education and public service.
He completed his primary and secondary education in government schools in his village, before pursuing further studies at Boys High School, Gandhi College, and B.S. College Latehar, where he graduated.
Shaped by the principles of his upbringing and inspired by his father’s commitment to service, Pandey developed a strong inclination toward contributing to society, which later guided his decision to join the ‘’’Indian Army Medical Corps’’’ in 2005.
