He secured first rank in the Bihar Combined Engineering Entrance Examination and pursued Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics Engineering from National Institute of Technology, Jamshedpur.
He later completed an MBA from XLRI Jamshedpur and also obtained an MTech degree.

He began his professional career with Cisco Systems in Bangalore, where he worked for several years.

He is an active member of the Indian National Congress.
He has served as General Secretary of Bihar Pradesh Congress Committee and as its spokesperson. He has also held the position of Chairman of the Social Media and IT Cell.
He served as State President of Bihar Pradesh Youth Congress and held various organizational roles within the party.
He was a candidate for the Bihar Legislative Assembly from Vaishali constituency in the 2020 elections.
