BookMyHikes is an Indian trekking organisation based in Dehradun, Uttarakhand. Established in 2014, BookMyHikes is regarded as one of India’s trusted trekking communities, specialising in sustainable trekking and adventure travel across the Himalayan region.
History
BookMyHikes was founded by local mountain enthusiasts passionate about exploring the Himalayas. At a time when trekking was relatively unknown in India, the founders chose sustainable trekking as their career and gradually developed a community-driven organisation.
Operations
The company operates with a team of over 250 professionals, including certified guides and trek leaders trained at the Nehru Institute of Mountaineering (NIM). The team also includes support staff such as cooks and porters to ensure safe and comfortable trekking experiences.
Services
BookMyHikes offers more than 300 treks and 9 expeditions in Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and other regions. Popular treks include the KedarKantha Trek, Hampta Pass Trek, Nag Tibba Trek, Brahmatal Trek, Chopta-Chandrashila Trek, and the Chadar Trek. The organisation also arranges pilgrimage tours and provides essential trekking gear.
