Dr. Abhishek Mathur is an Indian Senior Scientist widely recognized for his contributions to biotechnology, bio-agriculture, and industrial microbiology. With more than two decades of research, innovation, and applied scientific leadership, he has played a significant role in advancing sustainable agriculture, microbial technologies, and industrial biological solutions.

He is known for bridging advanced scientific research with real-world agricultural and industrial applications, particularly in the areas of microbial formulations, plant growth–promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR), and fermentation-based technologies.

Early Life and Education

Dr. Abhishek Mathur was born on 02 August 1981 in India. He completed his Master of Science in Applied Biochemistry, followed by a Doctor of Philosophy in Biochemistry, specialized in Microbiology.

His doctoral research was conducted at the ICMR–National Institute of Malaria Research and registered with Jiwaji University, Gwalior. His academic work focused on applied microbiology, biochemical systems, microbial ecology, and their agricultural and environmental applications.

Professional Career

Dr. Mathur has built an extensive multidisciplinary career spanning agricultural biotechnology, industrial fermentation, pharmaceuticals, microbial science, and applied biological research.

Over the years, he has worked across research, development, innovation, and techno-commercial domains, contributing to the development of sustainable biological solutions for agriculture and industry. His work integrates laboratory research, field validation, regulatory understanding, and commercialization strategy.
