History and Establishment

The Human Rights Council of India was established in the year 2012 with the objective of creating awareness about human rights and providing structured support to individuals facing injustice. The organization was founded by Haji Shaikh, who also serves as its National President.

Human Rights Council of India operates in 28 states across India. The organization has a membership base of approximately 75,000 members and has assisted more than 20,000 individuals through various human rights interventions and social welfare initiatives.
