Amit Kumar Dey is an Indian SAI-certified cricket coach and former competitive cricketer from West Bengal, India. He has over ten years of playing experience and more than three years of coaching experience, with expertise in cricket performance, sports psychology, injury prevention, and athlete development.
Education
He is currently pursuing a Master degree of Physical Education at The University of Burdwan. His academic background includes a Master’s Programme in Cricket Management from the Institute of Sports Science and Technology, Pune, a Bachelor of Physical Education from The University of Burdwan, and a Bachelor of Arts from Rabindra Bharati University. He completed his higher secondary education under WBCHSE and secondary education under WBBSE.
Coaching Career
He works as a cricket coach at Aditya School of Sports, Barasat, West Bengal. His responsibilities include coaching young and developing cricketers in batting, bowling, and fielding techniques, designing structured training programs focused on fitness and match readiness, and mentoring athletes on discipline, teamwork, and performance psychology.
Professional Experience
He previously worked as a Utility Agent cum Ramp Driver at AI Airport Service Limited, Kolkata Airport, from October 2022 to October 2023. In this role, he performed utility and ramp operations under strict safety regulations and demonstrated discipline, reliability, and teamwork in a high-pressure environment.

His competitive cricket experience includes participation in CAB Inter-District Tournaments for North 24 Parganas, playing in district first-division clubs, CAB first-division and second-division club cricket, and participation in inter-university and CAB inter-university T20 cricket tournaments.
