Tseten Chombay (born 15 April 1983) is an Indian politician, media entrepreneur, social leader, and Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) representing the 5-Kalaktang ST Assembly Constituency in Arunachal Pradesh. He is the Chairman & Managing Director (CMD) of Northeast Today (NET), an English monthly news magazine, and has held several leadership positions in student organizations, non-governmental organizations, cultural bodies, and political organizations.
He has been actively involved in youth leadership, media, tourism promotion, Buddhist affairs, and public service for more than two decades.
Early Life and Education
Tseten Chombay was born on 15 April 1983 in Arunachal Pradesh, India, to Mr. Goleng and Mrs. Tsering Drema. He belongs to the Monpa Scheduled Tribe community and follows Buddhism.
He completed his Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Economics and later obtained a Post Graduate qualification in Mass Communications from the University of Mumbai.
