He is also the president of the Indian Vehicles Drivers Trade Union, advocating for drivers' welfare and honoring accident-free drivers with gold medals. As president of the Save Freedom Park Movement Committee and an active member of the Press Club of Bangalore, he has made significant contributions to environmental conservation and journalism.
