Early Life
Manoj Kumar Tyagi was born on 14 January 1971 in Delhi, India. He comes from a traditional Hindu Tyagi (Brahmin) family. His father is Shri Chand Bhan Tyagi and his mother is Smt. Rajrani Tyagi. From an early age, he was associated with social and cultural activities.

Career
Manoj Kumar Tyagi started his professional career as a Laboratory Technical Assistant at Deen Dayal Upadhyay College under the University of Delhi.
Over the years, he became actively involved in employee welfare and organizational work. He currently serves as the National General Secretary of the University & College Employees Council, where he represents non-teaching staff and works towards resolving their issues.
He has also been associated with Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh since childhood and has handled various responsibilities within the organization.
He has played important roles in Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad, serving from local level to departmental responsibilities, including positions like State Vice President and Department Head in Delhi (Rohini region).
