Dr Sandip Rane was born on 07 May 1958. He passed his school and college education with distinction and developed an early interest in the medical field.
Education
Dr Sandip Rane completed his undergraduate and postgraduate medical education at Lokmanya Tilak Municipal Medical College. He later pursued specialized training in Cardiology at BYL Nair Hospital.
Career
Dr Sandip Rane has had a distinguished career as an interventional cardiologist. He has personally performed more than 5000 angioplasty procedures. Through his medical leadership and clinical expertise, Rane Hospital Multi-Speciality has successfully performed more than 1000 cardiac surgeries and over 2000 angioplasties.
He previously served as the Promoter Director of the Asian Heart Institute and has also contributed as a postgraduate teacher in the field of cardiology. Dr Sandip Rane currently serves as the CEO of Rane Hospital. He is also the author of a manuscript titled The Pendulum and the Purpose.
Achievements
Dr Sandip Rane has been acknowledged by the Government of India and the Government of Maharashtra for their flagship health scheme Ayushman Bharat. He has also filed five Public Interest Litigations aimed at improving the quality of life for residents of Mumbai.
