Career Summary

Jacob Mathew's career reflects extensive experience in Indian journalism and television news. Beginning his professional journey in 1994, he has worked with national and international media organizations and covered major political, security, disaster and sports events.

His career has included reporting on six Prime Ministers across nine general elections, terror attacks in Jammu and Kashmir, the Bhuj earthquake, terrorist attacks in Mumbai and other major national events.

He presently serves as Network Coordinating Editor at TV9 Network, continuing his work in television and digital journalism.

Alongside journalism, he has contributed to media education and institutional leadership as a former Director of ISOMES, Board Director of New Delhi YMCA and Chairman of the New Delhi YMCA Institute for Media Studies and Information Technology (IMSIT).
