Punjab is located in the northwestern part of India and shares an international border with Pakistan. Its capital is Chandigarh, which is also the joint capital of Haryana. Known as the "Land of Five Rivers," Punjab has historically been an agricultural powerhouse, particularly in wheat and rice production. It is also the spiritual and cultural center of Sikhism, home to the Golden Temple in Amritsar. The state is renowned for its festivals, cuisine, and vibrant music and dance traditions like Bhangra and Giddha.
