Early Life

Madhurendra Kumar was born on 05 September 1994 in Barwakala Nanihal, East Champaran, Bihar, India. His ancestral village is Bijbani. His father, Shiv Kumar Sah, was a farmer, and his mother, Gena Devi, was a homemaker. From childhood, he showed a deep interest in creating figures from sand and clay. He often practiced his art on the banks of the Arun River near his village.

Education

Madhurendra completed his early education in East Champaran, Bihar. He later earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) and Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degrees from Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapeeth University, Varanasi.

Madhurendra began his artistic journey at a young age by crafting sculptures with clay and sand. Over time, he developed a style of large-scale sand art installations focusing on social messages and national themes.
