Tseten Chombay (born 15 April 1983) is an Indian politician, media entrepreneur, social leader, and Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) representing the 5-Kalaktang ST Assembly Constituency in Arunachal Pradesh. He is the Chairman & Managing Director (CMD) of Northeast Today (NET), one of the leading digital news platforms in Northeast India, and has held several leadership positions in student organizations, non-governmental organizations, cultural bodies, and political organizations.
For more than two decades, he has actively contributed to youth leadership, media, tourism promotion, cultural preservation, Buddhist affairs, and public service while working towards the socio-economic development of Arunachal Pradesh and Northeast India.
Early Life and Education
Tseten Chombay was born on 15 April 1983 in Arunachal Pradesh, India, to Mr. Goleng and Mrs. Tsering Drema. He belongs to the Monpa Scheduled Tribe community and follows Buddhism.
He completed his Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Economics and later obtained a Post Graduate qualification in Mass Communications from the University of Mumbai.

Tseten Chombay began his public life through student leadership during his academic years in Mumbai. His early involvement in student organizations laid the foundation for a career spanning public service, media, tourism promotion, cultural development, and politics.
