Arvind Sharma (born 1 August 1981) is an Indian pharmaceutical entrepreneur, formulation specialist, and business executive. He is the Managing Director of Meyonex Pharmaceuticals Ltd., a WHO-GMP and PIC/S certified Contract Development and Manufacturing Organisation (CDMO) located at Tarapur MIDC, Boisar, Maharashtra. He is also the founder of TruRelief Biorganics Pvt. Ltd., an Ayurvedic healthcare company focused on clinically evaluated pain-relief formulations.
Originally trained as an electronics and instrumentation engineer, Sharma transitioned into the pharmaceutical industry during the mid-2000s. Since then, he has developed expertise in pharmaceutical manufacturing, formulation research, regulatory compliance, technology transfer, and export-oriented product development across international markets.
Early Life and Education
Arvind Sharma was born on 1 August 1981 in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh, India.
He completed his Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Electronics from A. C. Patil College of Engineering, Kharghar, Navi Mumbai, affiliated with the University of Mumbai, in 2003.
To strengthen his business and marketing knowledge, he later earned an Advanced Post Graduate Diploma in Management Studies (Marketing) from The ICFAI University, Tripura, in 2009.
Career
Sharma began his professional career in 2003 as a Project and Development Engineer with Capital Controls (India) Private Limited in Mumbai. During this period, he managed turnkey water treatment and chlorination projects, gaining experience in industrial automation, engineering design, and project execution.
In 2006, he joined Pam-Glatt Pharma Technologies Private Limited as an Electronics and Instrumentation Engineer. His responsibilities included PLC programming, SCADA systems, control panel design, and commissioning of pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment. He also contributed to the development of the Human-Machine Interface (HMI) for an automated pharmaceutical coating system developed in collaboration with Pam Germany.
This experience marked his transition from engineering into pharmaceutical manufacturing and laid the foundation for his future work in pharmaceutical process development and formulation science.
Between 2008 and 2012, Sharma served as the Chief Executive Officer of Quality Nexgen Pharmaceuticals Pvt. Ltd. During his tenure, he supervised the manufacturing and export of pharmaceutical formulations, including tablets, capsules, liquid oral preparations, and external dosage forms.
From 2013 to 2015, he worked independently as a pharmaceutical formulation consultant, assisting pharmaceutical companies in developing products for various Rest-of-World (ROW) markets.

Since January 2015, Arvind Sharma has served as the Managing Director of Meyonex Pharmaceuticals Ltd.
