INTRODUCTION
Krushna-Deva is an Indian music composer & filmmaker duo comprising brothers Krushna and Deva. Known for their works as singers, composers, and live performers. They are known for their works in Indian Cinema. Predominately in Marathi & Hindi Industry.They are Recipients of Two National Prodigy Award, Two Maharashtra Rajya Natya Award & Four Balgandharva Awards.
They began their career at a very early age, doing live shows & recordings with their father. Over the years, they have worked on notable films such as Eka Break Up Chi Gosht, Madaar, Tulgaon, Jilabi. Their compositions often feature live instruments and draw from a mix of traditional and contemporary styles.together, they have built a strong presence in the music industry through versatile shows, collaborations, and compositions.
EARLY LIFE
Krushna and Deva were born to Dinesh Joshi, a Senior Professor in Hindi & Marathi in Pune. They spent their childhood in Maharashtra, in cities such as Navi Mumbai & Pune. Krushna, the elder of the brothers, was born on 20 August 2003 and Deva, the younger of the brothers, was born on 13 May 2009.
Their father, in his younger days, used to perform with renowned artists and bands in Pune. Later, He quit music and joined as professor. Krushna Deva stated showing special attraction towards music in a very early age. Playing household items, trying to compose the poems in textbooks and etc. Their father noticed it and saw great musical potential in this duo hence, He quit his job in 2009 and started training Krushna Deva full time. This was the beginning of their musical journey.
They later started performing live, creating their own music, exploring sounds that would express their vision, emotions through music.
